Experience Details

The first geographical indication of bread in Europe was Cea bread. It is made exactly the same as in the SXIII. We want to bring our baking culture, history, roots closer to the visitor and share with them, in an interactive way, our way of making it. From a sustainable workshop, with a unique smoke recycling system.

What You’ll Experience

Tour of the facility to see the ovens inside and the process of Cea bread. Tasting of breads in which we appreciate differentiated catering of Galician breads. We learn to make bread. We know the surprising history of Cea bread, its relationship with the Camino de Santiago, the Oseira Monastery and the Carballiño octopus.

From Ourense, highway AG-53, until you reach the Carballiño-Cea intersection. Turn right towards OU-504, pass the gas station, after 3.7 kilometers, take the right turn to Santiago (N-525). Continue for 1.3 km (pass Fondo de Cea). On the left, you can see the polygon and our company (building in front of wood)
