Good to Know

Novi is Balinese and specialises in truly authentic Balinese cuisine, all her classes are bespoke and for a single booking for between 1 and 4 people. Novi's has over 200 recipes on her You Tube channel 'Novi's Bali Kitchen' to choose from and is always happy to discuss personal individual recipe requests. Classes are held in Novi's home and guests are given delicious freshly made refreshments on arrival and throughout their class. In true Balinese style classes are relaxed and whilst being highly professional, there is no rush and always plenty of time to sit together and enjoy what you have prepared. Your class can also take place at your private villa or venue. Please enquire for further information.

All ingredients and refreshments are included in the price for each class

Together we will prepare the 5 dishes you have chosen, 2 starters, 2 main courses and a dessert. We will serve you the most delicious homemade refreshments on your arrival and throughout your time with us and chat through the menu, introducing all the ingredients and equipment we will be using. When you are ready we will begin and follow the recipes step by step in your own time and on completion there is always ample time for you to enjoy the fruits of your labour.

We can arrange for a car to collect guests at their expense from the address where they are staying at the appointed time and return them on completion of their class. There is a large Banner 'Novi's Bali Kitchen' on a stand outside the cooking school's gate.

Great option for cooking class for allergies

Novi was an excellent recommendation, we were looking for a cooking class that could handle dietary restrictions like gluten free and vegetarian and allergies and this was an excellent experience! She thoughtfully curated a menu for us and doubled checked all the ingredients would be safe. The food was absolutely delicious and we learned some cool new techniques too!

Such a lovely experience. Novi and her helpers were so organised. We agreed on the menu the day before. It was wonderful and I highly recommend.

Amazing experience

Novi hosted an amazing day of cooking in her wonderful kitchen. We cooked three dishes, jukut urab, Balinese chicken curry and sate lillit fish. Novi explained everything perfectly whilst making the whole experience fun and exciting. We were fed well with our dishes at the end and were absolutely stuffed! I would highly recommend this if you are looking to learn how to cook a new cuisine. Terima kasih Novi, we loved meeting you and cooking with you!

Amazing cooking class!

This was a personalized local cooking class. She was able to work around my shrimp allergy. We had so much fun learning how to cook the local cuisine. AND...the food was delicious! It was truly a hands-on experience!

Great intro to Balinese cuisine

What a wonderful introduction to Balinese cuisine! Novi is so knowledgeable and a sheer delight! I learned so much yet it was so relaxed. I enjoyed cooking it with Novi so much I forgot that I got to eat it all at the end. What a banquet! Highly recommended.
