Before diving to Douro, we will make a brief stop to explore a hidden gem rich in history: Amarante.

Once in the Douro Valley, you'll be treated to amazing viewpoints and beautiful vineyards. You'll have the chance to enjoy exquisite wines, along with local olive oil and honey. You will also have the opportunity to savor a delicious traditional Portuguese lunch.

But that’s not all: your experience is improved with a boat tour along the Douro River. Additionally, if available according to the schedule, a delightful train ride on the river side to Pinhão will be included.

Here, we will have the opportunity to explore the historic São Gonçalo Church and Bridge, both iconic landmarks of the town. Strolling through the cobbled streets, enjoying the local pastries, and taking in the serene ambiance make Amarante a hidden gem in northern Portugal.

Upon arrival in Pinhão, we will seize the opportunity to embark on a scenic boat cruise amidst majestic mountains, immersing ourselves in breathtaking landscapes.
