Experience a private empanada cooking class in Buenos Aires with a warm and friendly local Gabriela in the beautiful Belgrano neighborhood. Begin with a welcome glass of wine or beer and enjoy a traditional Argentinian picada of cheeses, jams, and nuts on Gabriela’s balcony. Then join her in the kitchen for a hands-on cooking lesson, learning to prepare three empanada fillings — such as chicken and leek, zucchini and cheese, and the classic cheese and jam. After cooking, enjoy your freshly made empanadas with a fresh salad, followed by chocotorta or dulce de leche dessert with coffee or tea. If you choose the market tour option, meet your host Gabriela at her home and stroll a few blocks to Mercado de Belgrano for a private Buenos Aires market tour. This vibrant indoor market is known for its fresh produce, gourmet ingredients, and authentic neighborhood vibe. As you explore with Gabriela, meet her favorite vendors and discover regional Argentine specialties. You’ll sample fresh products and pick up a few ingredients to use later in your empanada cooking class. We had an amazing time at this empanada cooking class! The instructor was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience fun and easy to follow. We learned how to make authentic Argentine empanadas from scratch, and the hands-on approach made it even more enjoyable. Good Food, Good Fun, now Good Friends

Four of spent a wonderful evening with Gabriela and Patricia learning the tricks of making empanadas. We were greeted with a nice beverage and after some socialization, headed to the kitchen. Great fun! We must have been successful as we really enjoyed our resulting dinner. They even fulfilled a special request I made. Both the food we prepared and the wine they served was excellent. Wonderful experience with lovely hosts!

I am SO happy I found this class with Gabriela and her friend Patricia! My mom was visiting me in Buenos Aires and I was looking to book her some fun things to do during the day while I had to work. She was on her own and does not speak Spanish. Imagine my delight when I came across Gabriela's empanada experience!
