Private Santorini Cooking Class with a Chef Overlooking a Beautiful Garden

This is a unique opportunity to explore traditional culture and cuisine with a local chef. Meet your fun and friendly host Christos who is a professional chef and enjoys meeting new people and sharing his knowledge of Greek cooking with them. He will give you a short tour of the gardens where they grow everything from the delicious Greek tomato to crisp cucumbers. Join him at a modern, cooking studio to learn to cook authentic local recipes that he has perfected. During this hands-on, Greek farm-to-table cooking class, you will cook with fresh vegetables and herbs from the gardens, as well as other ingredients from local farmers. Learn to make traditional dishes such as the famed Santorinian fava, tomato fritters, pork fillets with Vinsanto sauce or if you are vegetarian, an exquisite local tomato paste and garlic pasta. Your cooking class lasts about 1.5 hours after which you will savor the meal you helped prepare in a beautiful restaurant setting, indoors or outdoors, weather permitting. Your meal will be accompanied by volcanic wines from the Artemis Karamolegos Winery and concludes with a sweet dessert.
