Experience Details

Discover the gorgeous green countryside around Civitavecchia and visit Tolfa, on top of the hills overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea. Tolfa is a quiet small village surrounded by the thick Mediterranean vegetation with green meadows and pastures, famous for its cousine and traditional gastronomy characterized by delicious cold cuts, cheese, ricotta, vegetable soups and wine.

The central main square of the village is a natural balcony overlooking the Mediterranean vegetation so rich in oak trees, bay trees, bluberries, blackberries and strawberries.

Along the main central narrow street there are the typical leather artisan shops producing leather items such as boots, bags, shoes, belts, slippers and saddles. The guided visit of the leather workshops will be an authentic local experience which will disclose to you the beautiful traditions linked to the Butteri, the local cowboys. You won't leave Tolfa without tasting the local gastronomy and sampling its genuine products!
