But skilled chefs know how to work their magic to prepare these classic dishes with no animal products, without compromising their flavor or their umami. In this experience, which takes place at a local cafe on Okinawa's main island, you can learn to prepare vegan ramen and gyoza from scratch, led by a professional chef. Your host will guide you on how to make a rich broth, prepare gyoza wrappings and fillings, and more while sharing unique insights on Japanese ingredients and cooking techniques.
Once the cooking is finished, you can enjoy your lunch overlooking the Pacific Ocean's pristine blue waters from the cafe's ocean-view seats. Even better, you get to take home the recipes so you can recreate these classic dishes whenever the cravings kick in.
