What we expected and more! Pick up was on time. The van was comfortable. Balam, our guide/ driver, was an excellent navigator. My wife and I ended up booking this tour late on a Sunday for a Monday morning tour. We received a prompt response from the company regarding our preferences. We were informed that our guide was primarily a Spanish speaker. We decided to go ahead with the booking. Keep in mind that we worked on basic conversational Spanish before the trip. This is an amazing tour and great value for money. This 8hour day trip allowed us to see the valleys and natural beauty that surrounds Oaxaca city and learn in detail about mezcal production and its ties to the local culture and community.
