A wonderful day trip!

This was honestly such a terrific day trip! We were picked up from out hotel in Spain and travelled into Vila Real de Santo António. From there we had a little free time to wander around until we boarded the boat. The host (Esther) was very engaging and spoke several languages (English, German, Spanish...) and translated the Portuguese guide with ease. A good day out in the Portuguese border area

This was a good value, full day out with experienced multi lingual guides, showing around the Guadiana river area of the southern Portuguese border with Spain. I booked directly with Riosultravel, through their website which was very straightforward. The meeting point was adjacent to the cross-river ferry terminal in Villa Real de Santo Antonio. Spectacular experience! I recommend it to everyone. Since we had 2 celiac people in the group, we contacted them in advance to see if they could have safe options. The care was exceptional: they were very concerned about cross-contamination and even disinfected our places and cutlery. They provided us with a delicious and 100% safe meal. We strongly advise this tour operator. Thank you so much for this special day! We cannot fail to mention that the landscape is magnificent.

Exceptional cruise

Where do I start. What a beautiful slow cruise we had a long the river to our destination. Esther was an amazing tour guide. I did the 10 minute walk upto the restaurant/ swimming pool when we arrived at Foz de Odeleite. Swim very much need. Tables set out beautifully for our lunch.
