Experience Details

Hands dirty. Glass full. Table set. In a real kitchen in Prati — steps from the Vatican — a professional chef teaches you to make fresh pasta and authentic Roman sauce from scratch. In English or French. With DOP-certified local ingredients. Alongside travelers from around the world who came here for the same reason you did: to eat well and learn something real. You'll leave with flour-dusted memories, a chef's recipe card, and a meal you made yourself. This is what Rome tastes like when you stop being a tourist.

Sample Menu

STARTER
pasta al pesto
Fresh basil. Pine nuts. Parmigiano Reggiano. Olive oil
STARTER
pasta al sugo fresco con parmigiano
Fresh tomatoes, good olive oil, a handful of basil

Fresh pasta from scratch, authentic Roman sauce, wine or Prosecco, chef's recipe card, participation certificate and professional photos. All ingredients included.
Certificate, chef's full recipe card and professional photos included.

Good To Know

  • Public transportation options are available nearby
  • Specialized infant seats are available
  • Service animals allowed

What You’ll Experience

You'll make the dough by hand, learning the right technique and texture — not just following a timer. Shape it yourself. Your chef guides you through every step until your pasta actually looks and tastes the part. Choose your sauce. A vibrant Pesto with basil, pine nuts, and Parmigiano — or a rich, slow-built tomato sauce with real depth. Your chef shares the technique, the timing, and the details that turn a good sauce into a great one. Sit down and eat. You'll plate your pasta, pour your wine or Prosecco, and eat what you made — together, at the table, the way Romans do. Before you leave — a participation certificate and your chef's personal recipe card, with tips you won't find in any cookbook.
