What You’ll Experience

This hands-on pizza-making experience is designed with kids in mind. For the next 1.5 hours, you'll settle in at a private cooking school in Trastevere, one of Rome’s most picturesque neighborhoods. Led by professional Roman pizzaioli (pizza chefs), you and your kids will stretch dough, pick toppings, and bake your own pizzas to perfection in a real pizza oven just like restaurants do. It’s interactive, playful, and tailored for curious young chefs, with grown-ups welcome to join in the flour-covered fun. The experience wraps up with a relaxed sit-down lunch to enjoy your freshly baked creations. Each child receives a special take-home gift to remember the day they became a “minipizzaiolo.” With a real pizza oven, friendly local chefs, and an unbeatable location, this is one of the top Rome activities for kids and families alike.
