First, we stroll around Kensington Gardens & learn of its long history. We will see the beautiful gardens Albert created for his wife Queen Victoria & take in the spectacular views as we approach the Palace where Prince Harry and William grew up. After viewing Diana's statue you will be guided to your reserved table where you will enjoy a full high tea before entering the Palace to see the Christmas Exhibits for a self guided tour. Victoria’s Countryside Christmas — A seasonal interpretation of Princess Victoria’s childhood Christmas traditions, recreated inside the rooms where she grew up. Expect Regency‑style décor, intimate family‑holiday details, and atmospheric winter storytelling by Palace Staff. Winter theming throughout the State Apartments — Red‑brick courtyards, quieter winter galleries, and festive touches woven into the palace’s historical route. . The tour itself does not include any guide gratuities and are entirely at your discretion.

Kensington Palace

The exhibition explores the life of Princess Sophia and the women who shaped her including Godmother Queen Victoria. Princess Sophia Duleep Singh is best known for her activism in support of women’s right to vote, as a suffragette who used her position to further the cause. In The Last Princesses of Punjab, audiences will explore her commitment to women’s suffrage through items including an original copy of The Suffragette featuring the iconic image of Sophia selling copies of the newspaper on the gate of Hampton Court Palace, where she was granted a residence by her godmother Queen Victoria. The image caused a scandal in 1913, considered evidence of her support of a “dangerous” cause. Princess Sophia’s spoiled 1911 census record reading “No Vote, No Census” will also be displayed, alongside a photograph of Princesses Sophia and Catherine attending a Suffrage dinner in 1930, demonstrating their prominent role in the movement.
