Discover the beauty and flavor of Portugal’s Douro Valley on a full-day adventure combining scenic train travel, vineyard visits, a river cruise, and local gastronomy. Begin your journey with a picturesque train ride from Ermesinde Station, sipping a warm coffee and enjoying a Pastel de Nata as the city fades behind you and the rolling vineyards unfold along the Douro River.
Arriving in Pinhão, a local guide escorts you through winding vineyard roads to a family-run quinta, where you’ll walk among the vines and taste wines poured by the winemaking family — each glass telling the story of the valley. After a hearty traditional lunch at a charming adega, continue your journey with a tranquil rabelo boat ride, drifting along the river as terraced vineyards and olive groves reflect in the water.
The day concludes with a scenic return to Porto along the famous N222, stopping at breathtaking viewpoints for photos, a coffee, or a light snack.

As the carriages glide out of Porto, the city slowly gives way to rolling vineyards and the gentle curves of the Douro River. Sip a warm coffee and enjoy a traditional Pastel de Nata as the morning light unfolds across the valley.
