Begin your Sitges history tour at the Town Hall Square, where you’ll be greeted with classic Catalan sweets to energize you for a 30-minute walk exploring the town’s most iconic buildings and learning about its origins.


After this stroll, delve into the “Going for Tapas” ritual, visiting three tapas bars to savour specially prepared menus by local experts. Try famous tapas like “pa amb tomaquet,” croquettes, and pintxos.


The journey includes tasting traditional Sitges wine, Malvasia, or the classic cava while enjoying tapas and pintxos, accompanied by local stories from your guide about Catalan cuisine and Sitges.

The church of San Bartolomé and Santa Tecla is the parish church of the city of Sitges, built in the 17th century with numerous later modifications. Its asymmetrical silhouette, on a hill overlooking the beach, is one of the most characteristic images of the town of Sitges.

Casino Prado Suburense

The importance of the heritage legacy of Casino Prado is undoubted, for this reason it is included in the Catalog of Architectural Heritage of Sitges. Of social value, it is the entity that dressed the architectural project and has been able to catalyze today and more than one hundred and thirty years ago a good part of the culture of Sitgetana, for this reason it has been recognized by the Generalitat of Catalonia that has declared it of Cultural Interest.

Casa Bartomeu Carbonell (Pass By)

Bartomeu Carbonell's house, at number 2 in the square, is one of the most representative buildings of the Americans in Sitges. In the work of the architect Ignasi Mas i Morell, the modernist elements, such as the balconies and, above all, the clock tower, decorated with crisp colour.

Carrer de Francesc Gumà (Pass By)

On the corner of Jesús Street and Francesc Gumà is the Villa Rosa, a former residence of Jaume Hill, with an eclectic style. If we take this street we will find that of the merchant and shipowner Pere Carreras, at number 23, an example of a modernist building with exuberant decoration of floral motifs sculpted on the facades.
