We visited two different vineries: one large player and one smaller sustainable, organic vineyard. The guide shared a lot of interesting knowledge about the history of the area and about the winemaking today. Had the great pleasure of tasting also rarer local grapes for the very first time. I also became a huge fan of Bobal - a delicisous and very variable grape!
David was an excellent tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone who is looking for a taste of the country’s wine scene. We will definitely be booking again.
The small group wine tour with David far exceeded my expectations! From start to finish he was very personable, professional and knowledgeable in sharing the history of wine as it related to different time periods in Spanish history. He was friendly and made us feel comfortable throughout the day and was responsive to all questions and requests. An added bonus was that he picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel.
