You will walk among the centuries-old olive trees enjoying a wonderful view of the Little Lucanian Dolomites and the Mantenera Forest

In the shadow of our Majatica, the queen of our 350-year-old certified olive grove and Patriarch Lucan, a picnic awaits you with a selection of Podolic cheeses from wild-bred cows, local cured meats, focaccia, the famous bread of Matera with which you can taste our organic oils, taralli olives drinking red wine Aglianico del Vulture immersed in a private location away from disturbing noises with only the sounds of nature and birdsong

You can relax on pillows or swing in the hammock, walk among olive trees and enjoy the beautiful food at your own pace

What You’ll Experience

After a short walk through the centuries-old olive grove we will reach our Queen a 350-year-old olive tree certified Patriarch Lucan and we will find them set up your picnic, you will be free to walk and visit our olive trees enjoying the beautiful panorama of the Little Lucanian Dolomites and the Mantenera Forest right in front of us, in a private and undisturbed space without street noise but only accompanied by the sounds of nature, the duration is about two hours but you can enjoy the experience at your own pace and times, you are invited to breathe the clean air and enjoy the rest in the hammock and on the blankets and pillows that are there for you

A Must if visiting Matera!

This trip was really amazing and I must if you’re traveling to the Matera area. The views were beautiful. The food was fantastic and the host were so welcoming and friendly and informative.
