Experience Details

While sushi is readily available in all shapes and sizes across Japan, few sushi meals are as comforting as the one you make yourself. You’ll taste the difference between store-bought and homemade sushi prepared with fresh fish and vinegared rice. In this experience in Osaka, you’ll learn how to prepare two kinds of sushi (nigiri and maki rolls), prepare a dessert, and whisk matcha. After all the hard work, you can savor your homemade meal while learning more about Japanese culture from your local host. Itinerary: -Meet your host at the venue -Wash your hands and prepare the vinegared rice for sushi -Roll maki sushi and assemble nigiri pieces -Shape a ready-made dessert and learn to whisk matcha -Enjoy your homemade meal Drawing from their extensive experience in both sushi-making and hosting traditional Japanese culture workshops, your host, Kazuki, and his team will guide you through this experience every step of the way. On a mission to share Japan’s beauty with everyone regardless of nationality, they provide authentic experiences for visitors to cherish and make unforgettable memories while learning about Japanese traditional culture. The experience venue is easy to access by train from Shin-Osaka or Osaka Stations, making it a great addition to any travel itinerary.

Meeting Point and Meeting Time

Meet your host at the venue near Esaka Station. It is a 22-minute train ride from Osaka Station or an 11-minute train ride from Shin-Osaka Station. More detailed information and a Google Maps link will be provided upon booking.
