It’s such a good idea to do such a tour for the insightful it gives you. Marion was such a good guide. She took us into a half dozen establishments which we would have otherwise walked past. The free sampling of local produce was generous and so lovely, and Marion has such a background knowledge which gave us detailed explanation in a warm and friendly way. Such an essential experience and totally recommended
Ria was amazing! Great tour of the history of Syros, the culture and the food. Would highly recommend it as a good way to get to know the island on your first day.
This was an excellent tour with Ria and Maria as our guides - Ria was so knowledgeable about the island and history and took us to some excellent places to try some of the local specialties. Would highly recommend this tour if you are visiting Syros
Ria was fabulous! She gave us a wonderful snapshot of history and food. Our group of 4 women had a fabulous time. The food we tasted was excellent. We loved the old style grocery store she showed us. We would go again with Ria anytime!
Really enjoyed our guide. She was very knowledgeable about the food scene and also showed us the major sites. We toured a wide variety of food stops from a local grocery store to bakery to coffee shop in the courthouse. Also the best gelato!
