It's Taco101 - an introduction to tacos! Unforgettable tacos. Unforgettable people. Unforgettable places. A foodie experience like no other. So much flavor. So much color. So much food! I have been conducting cultural and gastronomic for 8 years. After having led over a thousand tours, I have come up with a local experience that will surely become the highlight of your trip.

Mouthwatering tacos. All you can eat refried beans, cheese, beef, pork, fish and seafood tacos and quesadillas.

All you can drink purified water and fruity "aguas frescas".

Private transportation

A premium, all inclusive version of the Vallarta101 pay what you want taco walk. A relaxed morning or afternoon of chatting, learning about local finger foods and eating delicious authentic tacos. A (very) filling taco meal with a local friend. You´ll learn the history of tacos and how tacos are prepared and eaten around Mexico. We will visit up to 5 different taco spots in the central and south neighborhoods. You'll be able to taste 5 to 10 different tacos and many salsas and toppings. It's the most popular breakfast or lunch tacos in the city, the ones we locals often eat. Plus, drinks and dessert. And lot's of fun. We'll visit street stands and small taco eateries, all of them family businesses. We will also visit a corn tortilla factory! After our walking and eating session, you will feel more connected to the fabulous local taco scene and you will be more than ready to continue exploring on your own with more knowledge and confidence. I will also show you additional spots that you can visit later on and give you lots of extra info on how to make your vacation more enjoyable. Enjoy Vallarta by the hand of a proud local. Recommend the Taco Tour!

Easy walking tour and a great chance to eat your fill of a variety of authentic Mexican tacos. Memo was so knowledgeable and made sure to include every member of our multi-generation group in his comments. It’s obvious he’s a respected member of the community and knows the restaurants well. We ate at two sit-down places that were busy with local customers and two sidewalk taco stands, also with lots of local customers. Great, fun experience and delicious food!

Great introduction to Puerto Vallarta

We did the Vallarta 101 Breakfast and Welcome Walk with Memo. He was a wonderful guide for our family group of 12. We started with breakfast at El Campanario, a charming small restaurant with really good food. Memo gave us a lot of interesting information about the town and its history. Memo was a great guide...

Memo was a great guide and the food was excellent. Our group was comprised of grandparents, parents and kids aged 8-12. The tour and the walk was easily manageable for everyone.

Amazing!!!

We did the daytime tour with Memo! It was amazing! Took us away from the tourist area and got the best tacos of my life and best agua frescas. He was knowledgeable about every stop! So glad we did this is the beginning of our trip!
