Explorer of the Bordeaux vineyards in a 2CV and professional wine taster graduated from the University of Wine, I love sharing my passion for wine! Sharing and conviviality will be there and as Georges Brassens said "The best wine is not necessarily the most expensive, but the one that is shared" The tasting course is accessible to all, it is an initiation allowing you to desacralize the world of wine.

Often overshadowed by reds, Bordeaux’s white wines reveal a surprising diversity: lively and lemony sauvignon for aperitifs, rounder and more complex Sémillon blends for dinner, not to mention the prestigious Sauternes. This interactive and intimate tasting immerses you in the world of whites: history, appellations, grape varieties, winemaking techniques, and comparison between the left and right banks. You will discover how stainless steel preserves freshness while the oak barrel brings roundness and structure. Guided by Cécilia, a certified wine expert, you will taste four wines carefully chosen from family properties, organic or renowned, including a mystery wine. Each wine is accompanied by a matured French cheese, to explore creative food and wine pairings. You will leave with a tasting booklet to continue practicing at home. Depending on the season, the tasting takes place in our Bordeaux room, in a private courtyard or in our cellar. Wines are available for purchase after the session, and adaptations are possible for red lovers. Write us before booking in Japanese and Korean depending on the day.

Fantastic Wine Lesson

There are a lot of wine experiences to choose from in Bordeaux. I’m so glad I picked this one. Catherine was so informative and fun. I learned a lot of new information specific to Bordeaux. I loved the surprise at the end. I’m recommending this experience to everyone - beginner or non-beginner.

Wine and Cheese tasting with Aya

Aya was so knowledgeable and super nice. For a beginner with love for wine but absolutely no sense of them, she answered all my questions perfectly, in simpler ways. I was a solo traveler and the time went by so fast! A must do!!
