Start your culinary journey at Mae Somchit Kata Fresh Market, where you will explore a lively traditional market filled with fresh vegetables and other ingredients essential to Thai cuisine. After the market visit, the experience continues with a hands-on cooking class.

One of the highlights is making curry paste from scratch using fresh herbs and spices with a traditional mortar and pestle. You will also learn about the preparation of coconut milk and how it is used in many Thai recipes.

The activity provide free pick-up and drop-off from hotels in Kata, Kata Noi, and Karon. Transfers from Patong, Kamala, Surin, Rawai, Nai Harn, and other areas are also available – please contact us.
