Super fun and...
Super fun and approachable class, great for all ages. We took our teenagers and our 9-year old and all were happy. Bagels were delicious.

Welcome to the only place in Montreal that will teach you how to make Montreal bagels!
Montreal bagels are world famous for their shape, taste and texture. A trip to Montreal isn't complete until you've tried one of these amazing bagels. So why not try your hand at making them yourself? We will teach you the secrets on how to make some deliciously unique authentic Montreal style bagels at home, the easy way.
We will start by learning how to properly mix and knead the dough. We will discuss how different flours and water amounts affect the final texture of the dough and crust. I have adapted the best Boulanger (Bread Maker) techniques to the home kitchen. You will become a confident baker at home in no time!
We will go step by step from mixing the dough, letting it rest, to shaping the bagels, to boiling them, dressing them with various toppings, baking them and finally eating them!
This workshop is super hands on so this is far from the "Watch the pro" type workshops out there.
All equipment needed to make delicious bagels!

You will get a few Bagels to eat fresh out of the oven or to take home with you to enjoy later!
With the help of my beautiful, Interior designer, girlfriend, we have just opened our brand new The Bagel Class Studio! Cozy, heart warming design will make the studio space feel like home. This is meant to be a pleasant experience for everyone so every aspect of the workshop has been carefully designed to appeal.

There are two sets of stairs to the studio which makes this workshop not wheelchair accessible.

Best class ever
This class was so much fun! Will is a great teacher and keeps everyone engaged with his jokes and stories. And the bagels we made were delicious!! Highly recommend.

Great Class & Instructor in a Very Cool Factory Building
My wife and I had a GREAT time at the class and found Will to be very friendly, informative, and engaging. I saw some reviews from years ago that reference a home kitchen, rest assured this was in a commercial space in the old Cadbury Factory building which has been refurbished into very cool loft spaces. Plenty of bathrooms, great cleaning practices with washing sink in the kitchen where we were baking. Fun and tasty class!
My husband and I had a lovely time at this class. Our instructor did a great job at taking the class through the steps while also explaining why things were done a certain way. The bagels were very tasty, too.
