Laughter, fun, and pretzels. We use our amazing space at Zum Bauer where you comfortably and safely learn from our trained Chef's the history and styles of pretzel making and baking. It is truly an amazing experience that ends with you having fun knowledge to share with friends, a new cooking skill, and of course a pretzel ! New for the holidays (Nov 1 - Jan 6): add our Cheese Fondue & Unlimited Glühwein experience!

An interactive experience with hands on training. Your baker will be there to give individual attention and effort so that you leave knowing how to make your very own pretzel along with your take home pretzels! Plus, enjoy beverages and snacks to purchase while you laugh your way through this amazing event. Family friendly throughout the day and in the evening catering more towards adults it is perfect for any group, tour, or event.

Highly recommend to anyone who loves to cook or loves to eat

My sister and I took this cooking class and had an absolute ball - definitely one of the highlights of our trip! Our instructors were wonderful (and patient). We learned how to make pretzels the German way from start to finish and got to sample our work at the end. Oh my, they were good. An Incredible Pretzel-Making Experience at Zum Bauer! 🥨 Our pretzel-making class at Zum Bauer was an incredible experience and a highlight of our trip to Germany! A Highlight of Our Stay!

I went with one new friend that I'd just met during the trip and we had a wonderful time! Our baker/guide Lena was great - personable and steady. She infused so much Bavarian cultural and historical information into our time. We learned a lot in a lighthearted, engaging way. Must do activity!

This experience was so fun and a great way to experience German culture in a small town. This is a family ran business! The pretzel making process was easy to follow and we got to enjoy them at the end. Highly recommend to book this class for an outing in Garmisch!
