Traditional Moroccan cuisine is rightly considered one of the tastiest and finest in North Africa.
We will meet in the old medina, place de l'Horloge, and will immediately go shopping in the markets of Essaouira.
We will explore all the markets and buy the fresh ingredients from the locals to buy food.
Later we will go home, I will receive you with Moroccan mint tea.
After that we are getting ready to cook together, I will show you how to cook our couscous step by step and I will share with you all the recipes I learned from my grandmother.
Finally, we appreciate our work, we will savor our preparations with a great Berber mint tea! I'll show you the secret of good!
Welcome to Essaouira with another kind of experience different from regular cooking classes.

I will welcome visitors to my home and teach them to cook Moroccan dishes like tagines, couscous, Harira (Moroccan Soup), Moroccan bread.

Un moment inoubliable de notre voyage !
Quel magnifique moment partagé avec Fatima. Nous avons choisi de cuisiner un (une ?) Rfissa et c’est un choix qui est apparemment rare mais qui vaut le coup pour ce genre d’activité car il y a plusieurs manipulations à apprendre comme le msemen (en plus d’avoir fait le bonheur de son mari qui adore ce plat haha). Fatima est un ange tombé du ciel. Cette matinée restera gravé dans notre mémoire. N’hésitez pas une seconde si vous êtes de passage à Essaouira. Merci encore 🙏🏽 Yannis et Inès

Cook Traditional Moroccan Tagine and Soup cooking lesson
This was a truly lovely experience to cook a superb delicious vegetable tagine and Moroccan soup in Fatimas apartmemt. Excellent value for money, we were welcomed as part of Fatimas family and ate with her and her family. The whole cooking experience and market shopping for ingredients took about 5 hours. Absolutely loved this experience, thank you Fatima for teaching me how to tagine, I loved it
