Join us for a fun foodie adventure through Union Square, Somerville - a neighborhood like Brooklyn, NY that is bursting with culture, historical significance, and an exploding food scene! Home of the infamous Fluff Festival because marshmallow fluff was invented here, the quirky Union Square celebrates its diversity with many community events and festivals. Celebrating entrepreneurs of all kinds, there are lots of creative new concepts here. This historical area is home to the raising of the first American flag in 1776, allegedly by George Washington himself. We are excited to show you around! We will sample a diversity of foods from local favorites, ethnic restaurants, and hand-crafted specialty foods that are sure to wow! This tour is suitable to all ages, but there many be a chance or two to try some alcohol from some special local bars, so please specify your preference upon booking.

Great way to get to know the neighborhood.

Instead of brunch on Mother's Day, my husband and I did this tour. Really enjoyed it. Got to know some restaurants we weren't aware of (can't wait to go to Juliet and El Potro) and who knew that toasted fluff on a ice cream cone would be so good. Emily our guide was wonderful. Highly recommend this and can't wait to do another tour.

Hidden gems for foodies and fascinating history in Davis Square

My partner and I had an absolute blast on Emily's Davis Square food tour. She was so friendly and genuine and had a wonderful way of telling stories about the places we visited and history of the area in between food stops. The portions that you get on the tour are surprisingly substantial and so delicious! Awesome food, excellent information!

I did the Off The Beaten Path, Somerville food tour with our wonderful guide, Emily, a couple of weeks ago. The first stop was a yummy oat based cafe, serving both sweet and savoury oat dishes. They were both filling and delicious. We moved onto Flatbread Co for some of the best pizza I have tasted in the US and some super fun Candlepin Bowling. Visiting the area

Alex was a great guide. We did the whole tour in the rain, we can’t help the weather, and she was a super trooper. We had all indoor tastings and all delicious. Will highly recommend this tour to get to know the area, it’s history and some delicious food

Terrible

Had a tour booked today in Somerville. Tour guide didn't show up. Didn't answer text or call. A trainee was also waiting. 20 minutes after it was to start she said it was canceled and refund would be given. This was a gift so doesn't do me any good. Four hours in the car and no tour. Guide called 30 minutes after the time it was supposed to start and offered to meet us for free and would take us for ice cream. I don't think so.

This is an unfair review. Unfortunately we did have a guide mixup but what more could we do than apologize profusely and offer the full refund and free tour? We offered a full free tour and when you said no we offered free fluff cones at least so this message is a lie. Alex has never missed a tour in the last 5 years working together. Please reflect on your actions against a hard working small business with circumstances outside of our control.
