This Venice food tour takes you to small bars downtown,
the so called 'bacari' which are cosy, modest places and smell delicious! This walk and tasting tour will unveil one of the most vivid and funny culinary traditions in Veneto.
The bacari are the traditional osterias in the lagoon: they are decorated in a simple and warm fashion, where the cuisine smells ensure the most comfortable atmosphere.
Dive into the genuine lagoon mood and join the lively aperitivo time of the locals, tasting wines and eating the local‘cicchetti’, along the Cannareggio canal.
When the day is over, aperitivo is a must in Italy. However, only in Venice you can find the Spritz and the cicchetti, small plates of meatballs, fish, vegetable preparations, toasted bread with toppings, deep friend delicacies and skewers.

The variety was limiting and we didn’t sit down at all. I was hoping we would have had a table at a few of the establishments.
Out of the way dining venues provided delicious food. Our guide took us to her favorite places for authentic Venetian food.
I was unable to attend due to late international airplane arrival. Requested refund but received no answer.
