Want to upgrade your wine tasting knowledge? With this Bordeaux wine masterclass, you’ll learn everything there is to know about our region and more. In the heart of Bordeaux’s old town centre, this wine tasting workshop will teach you not only the fundamentals of wine, but also the history of the vineyards, their unique characteristics, and main grape varieties. Throughout this masterclass workshop, you will also learn the correct and sophisticated approach to tasting, how to serve wine to your guests and how to pair Bordeaux wine with food. - Workshop offered by a local wine professional - 4 wine tastings per person with a cheese platter, bread and chocolates to share. - Map and wine tasting sheet to help you out!

Want to upgrade your wine tasting knowledge? With this wine masterclass, you’ll learn everything there is to know about Bordeaux and more. In the heart of Bordeaux’s old town center, this wine tasting workshop will teach you not only the fundamentals of wine, but also the history of the vineyards, their unique characteristics, and main grape varieties. Throughout this masterclass workshop, you will also learn the correct and sophisticated approach to tasting, how to serve wine to your guests and how to pair Bordeaux wine with food. The masterclass will be taught by a local wine professional with sommelier and/or vineyard experience. After an introduction to the vineyards of Bordeaux, you will taste four different wines from various appellations, each with their own distinguished style and character. You will learn the specificities of each region in terms of soil, climate and grape varieties and learn how to recognize their unique taste. The wines will be paired with delicious chocolates and some local cheeses!

The tasting experience was vibrant and rich in discoveries! Nicolas was an extraordinary host, with extensive knowledge about the wines of the region and beyond. In terms of quantity, we had enough wine and cheese to enjoy the tasting until we were full. We highly recommend it! 🍷☀️

Exciting tasting in the heart of Bordeaux

A magnificent experience with Jon who captivated my girlfriend and me. As a beginner in wine, we learned a lot about the steps of discovering a wine. An adventure that awakens all the senses. The advice and anecdotes were just as high quality as the wines and cheeses we tasted. Fabulous experience, highly recommend!

This experience totally exceeded our expectations! Jonathan was welcoming, funny and very knowledgeable. We had so much fun and learnt a lot about wine and the region. Definitely worth the money and would recommend to anyone coming to Bordeaux! We look forward to joining one of their tours soon!

I had the most amazing experience

I had the most amazing experience at Bordeaux wine trails for my wine pairing class! I took a class with Margot and she was very patient and kind and she went to the extent of helping me carry my luggage to the nearest Uber train station as I attended the class alone. I was treated with so much kindness and love and I would highly recommend border wine trails to anyone who’s looking for a fabulous wine pairing class.
