A day of vines, wine growing and making and a relaxed lunch.
We had a lovely day with Gerald and Sarah Jane learning about the vines, wine growing and wine tasting. We learnt to understand what we were tasting and the elements to look for of their delicious wines.
We then had a lovely lunch of salads and local cheeses and meats in the garden of their beautiful home.
A fun, fascinating day and one where we learnt so much about the wines we were tasting.
We would highly recommend.

Stunning chateau and amazing wines - a tasting to remember on a sunny day in March!
A fabulous visit to this lovely part of the Loire where our wonderful hosts treated us to an amazing tasting of some truly gorgeous wines - especially the bubbles!
We were lucky enough to be there on a gloriously sunny day in March, and in addition to the wines, we enjoyed a lovely fresh baguette filled with casse-croute and cornichons, simply delicious 😋

A Perfect Afternoon at Loire Valley Uncorked!
Loire Valley Uncorked "Wine Tasting with the Wine Maker" was a personal tour and experience like none other and was the highlight of my time in the Loire Valley. Gérald is a passionate and articulate wine maker who offered a walk through the vineyard and education about wine that was so very different than other wine tastings. Amazing wine-tour and tasting!
Our enthusiasm started with the phone conversation with Sarah-Jane. It soon became clear that she and her husband Gérald could offer us exactly the wine tour and tasting we had in mind. The setting is serene; a beautifully refurbished country house with vineyard and cellar and "devine air blowing through the domains arcs".

Exceeds Expectations
Oh my word, we were treated like royalty and had the best day ever with Gerald & Sarah. From pick up to drop off everything was top notch. Learnt so much about wine and ate the most amazing food in wonderful surroundings! I wish it was on my door step!
