During your stay in Bellagio, Lake como or in Lombardy you can stop at the Restaurant Salice Blu, meet Chef Luigi Gandola and have a wine tasting with him in the amazing Wine Cellar.

Chef Luigi graduated professional Sommellier A.i.s. in march 2018 and he takes care of your wine tasting personally.

Just a few minutes drive from Bellagio’s city center and Lake Como, an elegant restaurant the Salice Blu in Bellagio is home to the award-winning imaginative creative Chef Luigi. While young, Chef Luigi worked in the illustrious Villa D’Este 5 star for seven years and has already won 50 gold medals in international culinary competitions. Still, Chef Luigi is humble and energetic as he talks about using local ingredients and as well is able to teaches his home-made pasta cooking class in his family-owned restaurant.

Wonderful experience

The wines were delicious and Luigi was very entertaining! The tasting room was so beautiful and unique. We stayed for dinner after our tasting and had the most wonderful meal.
