Discover the rich territory that has become part of the UNESCO World Heritage site. It is easy to see how the ancient vineyards are still able to interpret the art of winemaking and recognize the rich traditions. Discover the vineyards and the cultivation method with a passionate wine maker. He will tell you the history of this famous territory. Aquileia was founded in 181 BC by the order of Rome as it was a strategic location for trade and the intersection of fundamental communication channels with a thriving port. Aquileia is a significant archeological site as well as a small rural town where family lives cultivating the vineyards. Then you'll visit the winery where you will better grasp the objective and the process on on how are interpreted the individual characteristics of each grapes variety. The tour will end with a guided tasting of 5 wines. Get ready to live this amazing experience!

Interesting and delicious.

Francesco gave us a super interesting and educational tour of his vineyard. The tasting afterwards was very delicious, and you could directly taste the learned differences in production. Highly recommended. An additional highlight: the super sweet little dog that lovingly lets everyone pet him.

Aquileia wine tour

Francesco provided an excellent tour. He walked us through his vineyard explaining the different variety of grapes, the processing and then showed us the cellar and explained the wine making process. He ended the tour with tasting of 5 delicious wines and a snack. The only thing that you need to know is that the tours starts at the winery which is 2kms from the information center so if you don’t have a car there are no taxis or buses that go there. Una visita molto interessante

Francesco è una persona cordiale e molto competente. Ci ha accompagnati nella vigna e ci ha fatto apprezzare sia le varietà dei grappoli sia le tecniche di coltivazione. Il suo modo di accarezzare i grappoli è incantevole ed è dimostrazione della cura trasfusa nel lavoro. Ottimi gli assaggi dei vini, bellissimo il territorio, una visita che consigliamo!

Una bellissima sorpresa

Eravamo in 3 adulti (regalo di compleanno per mio fratello) È stata veramente una bellissima scoperta. Una visita diversa dal solito; la maggior parte del tempo lo si trascorre in mezzo alle vigne, dove si prova a capire cosa vuole dire coltivare vitigni in quel territorio così speciale. Stunning place and great wines!

The winery is fantastic, we discover so many stories about the vines and the naturalistic environment of the lagoon thanks to the tour in the vineyard with the wine maker! The wines are great and the metodo classico is unexpectedly excellent! Thanks to the winemaker for this great experience.
