Experience Details

Not a demo — you cook your own paella, from sofrito to socarrat, in a real restaurant kitchen in the heart of Barcelona's El Raval neighborhood. Groups stay small (max 12), so your host guides you properly at every step. Choose seafood or vegetable paella, cook it yourself, then sit down to enjoy it with cava, selected wines, and a traditional Catalan cream. All levels welcome. Perfect for couples, friends, and solo travelers.

What You’ll Experience

Step into a real Barcelona kitchen in the heart of El Raval and learn to cook an authentic Spanish paella from scratch. In a small group of no more than 12, you'll go hands-on from the very first step: building the sofrito, adding fresh ingredients, and mastering the rice technique—including the coveted socarrat, the caramelized crust that makes a perfect paella. Your host guides you at a relaxed pace through every step. Choose between a classic seafood paella or a seasonal vegetable version, both made with fresh, quality ingredients. Once your paella is ready, sit down to enjoy it together with a welcome glass of cava, selected wines throughout the meal, and a traditional Catalan cream for dessert. You cook. You eat. You leave with the recipe — and the skills to recreate it at home.
