Learn to cook traditional Chinese dishes in a hands-on cooking class in Yangshuo. Visit a local market, enjoy a tea ceremony, and taste farm rice and "happy water."
Start your culinary adventure by visiting a local market to learn about Chinese ingredients, herbs, and vegetables. Sample original snacks and get a feel for the local culture. After the market visit, head to the kitchen to start cooking. Choose 4 dishes from a menu that includes beer fish, fried tofu, steamed chicken, fighting cucumber, braised eggplant, pickled bamboo fish, tomato with eggs, and tofu dumplings. Learn how to make each dish vegetarian or vegan, and adjust the spice level to your preference. Enjoy a tea ceremony, farm rice, and happy water as part of your experience.
