Great Place for Sushi with fantastic Atmosphere

Truly one of the best food experiences i have ever had. Completely worth the price and is a must do if you truly want to experience top quality japanese seafood.

Delicious vegetarian fare! We enjoyed our meal and the peaceful ambiance. Staff were kind and very polite.

Such a special omakase experience! The space felt incredibly private, with a clean, minimalistic aesthetic that made the whole meal feel catered towards their audience. Every detail, from the presentation to the pacing of the course, was thoughtful, and you could really tell the focus was on letting the food quality speak for themselves. Definitely one of those places you go to slow down; highly recommended!

Today I had the opportunity to sit at the beautiful Kiso cypress counter at Ginza Sushi Yu (銀座 鮨 佑). Under the guidance of Head Chef Arito Seiki—a third-generation sushi chef—the kitchen operates on flawless biological timing. It was a pleasure to dine at a one star Michelin restaurant, particularly for sushi for a vegetarian. The whole experience (service and ambience) was great. However, for the price it was disappointing, particularly the vegetarian set menu. Did not live up to expectation.

Great service for foreigners

Wow, simply fantastic. Top notch service, amazing food, very friendly, explained each dish which was great as we are sushi beginners. Chef was engaging and the lady serving the drinks was a real character. Thank you guys for a great evening.

Outstanding Lunch Omakase (Saturday). By Food took care of making the reservation. My kids enjoyed the different fish and dishes or soups. Our Chef was kind and polite. The restaurant was great at accommodating my shellfish allergy while ensuring the restaurant of my party got what they chef wanted to prepare for us.

We had the best tempura meal we’ve ever had. Everything was prepared and seasoned perfectly. The batter was not what we would have expected and was light and complimented each course well. The fruit drinks were delicious. We enjoyed our conversation with the chef as well. As soon as we were done I told my friend who would be visiting Tokyo soon this was a must try meal. Would highly recommend for anyone.
