Yoko was a very friendly and warm instructor. She is passionate about Japanese culture and food, and we enjoyed conversing with her and learning more how the history and culture of Japan affected its food. I highly recommend Yoko as she truly brings the authentic Japanese experience to the cooking class.
Yoko-san is a delight to learn from, with inside experience of the cultural traditions that makes modern sushi. She's also quite entertaining, and after we finished cooking and sat to eat, she shared her vast experience of the trees and local nature of Japan. The bottom line is that every bite of the food we made together was beyond totemo oishii.
This was one of our favourite evenings ever! We had the most wonderful experience , learning about Japanese food and it’s origins and history, trying different types of ingredients, making our food and eating it in beautiful company. Yoko is a wonderful human and her passion for food and meeting travellers is inspirational. She is kind hearted and exciting to be around. I think this evening will stay in our memories forever.
