Mari-san talked us through the traditional method of a tea ceremony, including how they decorate the room and the symbolism of objects. She was dressed in the traditional kimono and we sat on cushions round a low table. She whisked the matcha and presented us with the tea. Then we did the same. We had the best time at this tea ceremony. Learned all about the tradition of Matcha tea ceremony. Our host was lovely so was our translator.we were taught how to make matcha tea . Also enjoyed the lovey sweets.We had lots of laughs and story telling as well. Highly recommend
