This set includes a Japanese wine selected from the premium series of wines produced in Japan by Sapporo Grand Polaire, and three snacks in a bottle. Grand Polaire Esprit de Vin Japonais Aya - 720ml Shirakami Sanchi Garlic Pickles Akita Myoga Pickles (Ume Jiso Flavor) Yuzawa Warabi and Kelp Pickled in Soy Sauce Grand Polaire creates wines that showcase the terroir of the Japanese climates of Hokkaido, Nagano, Yamanashi, and Okayama, bringing out the individual personality of the grapes and producing delicate, well-balanced flavors. The wine is made mainly from grape varieties indigenous to Japan, and has a taste that can be easily paired with everyday Japanese cuisine. Enjoy the exquisite balance of its gorgeous berry aroma, soft mouthfeel, and elegant acidity. Grape variety: Muscat, mainly from Yamanashi Prefecture Wine type: Red, light-bodied Best drinking temperature: 12-14℃. Food Recommendations: This wine can be easily matched with any dish that is typical of the Japanese cuisine. Shirakami Sanchi Garlic Pickles Using garlic from the Shirakami Sanchi area and the transparent soy sauce that was the talk of the town last year, Tomiya Shoten created their original product. You can enjoy the garlic whole, or slice it into small pieces and use it as a topping for salads and pasta. The juice from the jar can be used in dressings, or simply drizzled over grilled fish to enhance its flavor. Akita Myoga Pickles (Ume Jiso Flavor) This delicious pickled myoga (Japanese ginger), produced in Akita Prefecture, can be sliced thinly or chopped into small pieces and used as condiments. The juice can also be used in dressings. Yuzawa Warabi and Kelp Pickled in Soy Sauce This product is made with warabi (referred to as “bracken” in English) from Akita Prefecture, kelp from Hokkaido, and soy sauce from Ishimago Shoten, a brewer in Yuzawa. It is delicious not only as a snack, but also as a side dish on white rice.
