Restaurant Details
Located just a minute on foot from Saidaiji-cho Station in Okayama City, Ajisobo Mugi is a Japanese restaurant that uses only natural, domestic ingredients, and offers omakase courses.
Senya beef is highly recommended at Ajisobo Mugi. It is a rare brand of Japanese black beef that cannot usually be found outside of Okayama. The meat is finely marbled and is tender with a sweet taste. It is often served seared over a charcoal fire. At Ajisobo Mugi, you can spend a blissful moment savoring it along with a glass of wine.
Sanyo rice is also used at the restaurant. It is grown in rice paddies in the heavy snowfall area at the foot of the Ou Mountains. The rice is harvested at a low yield in a harsh natural environment.
