Restaurant Details

Among the favorites of Tokyo's ramen enthusiasts, Minowa's Ramen Toy Box rates highly on the top ramen ranking sites in Japan. They use only the best of Nagoya Cochin chicken — which is seen as the Kobe beef of chicken — with the other components for the ramen just as exquisite as this high-quality chicken. There are about five to seven types of soy sauce selected carefully to accentuate the soup, which is made up of only chicken and water — almost no other ramen shops do it this way because of the difficulty to maintain consistency with each batch of soup as well as keeping the broth clear. To top off the ramen bowl, the skin of the chicken is used to create an oil that is added at the end. From the delicately cooked noodles to the utilization of every part of the chicken, Ramen Toy Box takes its ramen craft seriously. Every bowl of noodles promises intense chicken flavors, chewy-textured noodles, and clear soup with fantastic homemade shoyu.
