Restaurant Details

Nestled among a cluster of art museums in Osaka, Sosaku Teppan Kurabito’s unassuming exterior and reservation-only policy lend an air of exclusivity. A striking red carpet leads to the iron teppan counter, while wide windows frame a sweeping view of Osaka’s cityscape, which mirrors the stainless-steel interior. In this refined space, diners are enchanted by a seamless combination of performance and cuisine.

Sosaku Teppan Kurabito is led by its gregarious owner, who is pushing the boundaries of traditional teppanyaki with his creative approach. He honed his skills in top hotel kitchens before bringing his individual style into the spotlight.

Miyazaki beef, Japanese Black beef from Kyushu and seafood sourced fresh from daily morning markets are expertly seared on the restaurant's grill at the main counter. The ambiance is surprisingly lively, with the kitchen team grilling live abalone and tiger prawns, using a temperature gun to achieve the perfect char and heat. As they work, they chat with guests and infuse the space with warm energy.

Guests are treated to premium ingredients like chateaubriand and whole-cut steak, making every meal at Sosaku Teppan Kurabito truly memorable. The drinks perfectly complement the teppanyaki experience, with 30 types of whiskey and a rotating selection of wine. T the owner suggests starting with a toast featuring Asahi's premium beer or opting for cocktails and sours for a sweeter touch.

The ideal Osaka venue for an anniversary or special celebration, there is never a dull moment at Sosaku Teppan Kurabito.
