Terrace & Dining ALL FLAGS
Cuisine from around the world has found its way to Kobe’s port — and now into the kitchen of one of its best hotels.
Restaurant Details
Kobe is known for its port and cosmopolitan flair — two aspects that are perfectly expressed at ALL FLAGS, the Kobe Merikin Park Oriental Hotel’s all-day dining option that channels idealized waterfront dining like a pro. Overlooking the man-made Port Island and Kobe Airport on the southside, diners can choose to have breakfast on the terrace while enjoying the sea breeze or toast to the city’s stunning lights over dinner.
But with there live kitchen “zones,” what’s outside the window needs to do less of the heavy lifting. Strategy is key, and we've perfected it: head straight to the carving station, where ALL FLAG’s special beef roast is slowly rotated and grilled churrasco-style, carved right before your eyes. Alternatively, visit the taco-making station for fresh guacamole and spicy taco meat. At dinner, the chefs dish out tender pork that melts in your mouth and plump, flavorful head-on shrimp.
The dessert section deserves its own shoutout, too, featuring a Mont Blanc dessert crafted from freshly squeezed chestnut and cream. Other options include silky gelato with all the crowd-approved flavors such as strawberry and pistachio.
There’s never been a good reason not to go to one of Kobe’s best hotels for waterfront dining.
