Soak up the spirit of Speyside on a 3-Day small-group whisky tour! Explore Scotland’s principle malt whisky producing region, which is noted for its elegant and subtle-tasting whiskies. Your tour will depart from Edinburgh with a maximum of 16 people and head to the north-east area of Scotland. The region of Speyside follows the path of the River Spey, stretching from the west of the Cairngorm National Park to the east coast. Boasting an impressive scene of winding lochs, green glens and dramatic peaks, the region has something for everyone. Enjoy visits to four of the region’s famous whisky distilleries, Lindores Abbey, Royal Lochnagar, Glen Moray and Dalwhinnie and enjoy tastings and samples. Speyside is home to another 42 operating distilleries, so there’s certainly plenty more to see if time permits!
What You Get
Good To Know
- * Cragganmore Silent Season will take place between 5th May and 27th May 2025. If your tour departs between 5th May and 14th May, you'll visit Speyburn Distillery instead. If your tour departs between 19th and 27th May, you'll not be able to see the production site at Craggamnore. You'll still visit their warehouse and draw a sample whisky straight from a cask, then follow it with a tutored tasting of 3 drams and an Old-Fashioned cocktail.
- *Please note that Cragganmore Distillery will be observing Silent Season from April 30 to May 16 2025. If your tour departs during this period, you will visit Speyburn Distillery instead for a tour and tasting on Day 2, with the Cardhu visit scheduled for later in the afternoon. For the April 30 departure only, Cragganmore will be replaced with Glenlivet Distillery, and Cardhu with Glen Moray. We apologise for the inconvenience.
