During an in-home, authentic cooking lesson and meal, Nidhi will introduce you to the delicious flavors of Uttar Pradesh, the regional cuisine she grew up eating. Join Nidhi in her 100-year-old, traditional home for a hands-on cooking demonstration in her kitchen. She will demonstrate how to prepare 2-3 dishes before you sit at the dining table to enjoy the meal together. Experience a traditional meal while learning about cultural and culinary heritage in India from a local!

This is a unique opportunity to visit the home of a local and explore traditional culture and cuisine. Deeply rooted in local customs and traditions, Nidhi and Vikash partake in the ancient ritual of offering the first serving of a meal to God and have separate stoves for vegetarian and non-vegetarian cooking. Join Nidhi in her kitchen for a cooking demonstration. She will demonstrate how to prepare 2-3 dishes such as dal tadka (lentils) and roti (flatbread) or a paneer gravy (fresh cheese), depending on the menu for that day.

Great cooking lesson and wonderful lunch

Highly recommend this wonderful experience in Agra. My wife and I had a fantastic cooking demonstration with Monica and then the best food we had during our trip to India. Lunch was delicious and the conversation with Monica and her husband Sanjeev was interesting and informative. Loved this experience and it was great to enjoy a wonderful lunch.

Really Enjoyed the Experience

Had no idea what to expect but we had been previously asked about allergies and likes and dislikes so we would not be confronted with food we really disliked. We were give a drink on arrival and shown to the kitchen were our host made chapatis and then we had a go. Geat fun. We also made 2 other dishes before we sat down and had a delicious meal with lots of dishes made previously. Great experience. We arranged our own taxi there and back.
