Experience Details

Enjoy an ancestral Mayan experience in an excellent culinary activity. Discover the secrets of the Mayan past in the elaboration of dishes in an artisanal way, you can delight your palate with drinks, snacks and Mayan food. Relax and enjoy the surroundings in a beautiful environment of local flora and fauna. At the end you can enjoy a dance in the form of a musical known as Show de jarana before returning to the city.

What You’ll Experience

At the beginning of the activity you will receive a welcome cocktail as a courtesy (piña colada, daiquirí, etc). You will enjoy a culinary experience in the elaboration and preparation of ingredients in ancestral dishes. An open beverage bar including soft drinks, waters and beers is included. An explanation of the artisanal process of creating handmade tortillas will be given. You will experience the process of making buried Pib (ancient Mayan tamale). During your entire stay you can taste different regional snacks. During the tour you can enjoy a swim in the pool. On the premises you can interact with farm animals (deer, turkeys, rabbits) and local vegetation. Includes free tasting bar on the prepared dish. At the end you can enjoy a dance in the form of a musical known as a jarana show.
