Authentic Basque gastronomy for gourmets !

2, 3 or 4 Gourmets, take a part in an exclusive full day(10am/4pm) food experiences, discovering the last authentic gastronomy. Use a traditional method to make you becoming a true connoisseur. Program that we usually develop in 4 to 14 days following these steps : How to look at carefully, listen, smell, touch or taste and recognize authentic artisan products ? Which ones to taste and how ? Where to buy them and how ? Who still uses this ancestral know-how and why ? How to feel the fullness and importance of the art of living ? For this day, you will live a kind of "introduction" to this program. Depending on the calendar, we'll discover a traditional market, taste the Basque flavors of a farmer (cheeses, traditional cooked dishes, cold meats, apple juice), be in a traditional cheese factory before having a lunch in a typical restaurant. Then, a wine and cider grower will be waiting us for a tasting of apple juice, ciders, wines and other secret and unique drinks ! We'll go to a traditional cheese maker + a farmer butcher. Finally, we'll visit a store representing local farmers (drinks, meat, foie gras...). Price per person : 249€/p. if 2p., 219€/p if 3p., 199€/p if 4p.
