This pasta-making class led by a talented chef in San Diego provides a unique experience to learn essential techniques and traditional recipes in a welcoming winery venue. The chef's passion for cooking began at a young age and has led him to become a television chef and recipe developer. He has honed his skills by working in a variety of professional kitchens. The class will begin with an introduction to ingredients and techniques. Combine flour, eggs, salt and olive oil and knead it into dough. Shape your dough into pasta and cook it until tender. While the pasta cooks, whip up a fresh marinara with tomatoes, garlic, onion and basil. Stir the pasta into the sauce and plate up your dish before enjoying your homemade pasta feast. The chef will add these essential skills and traditional techniques to your culinary repertoire.
