Immerse yourself in a private cooking class at local's home, learn the secrets of the most famous dishes of Catania cuisine and taste the fruit of your labour accompanied by a selection of local wines. During the lesson the local home cook will reveal the tricks of the trade of 3 authentic Catania recipes. Have fun putting your cooking skills to the test. Each participant will have a workstation equipped with utensils and all the ingredients to make the dishes. Then, taste everything you have prepared accompanied by a selection of red and white local wines. This experience is held by Cesarine: Italy’s oldest network of 1000+ home cooks all over the country in more than 500 cities. They are passionate and welcoming hosts that open the doors of their own homes to curious travellers for immersive culinary experiences.

Would highly recommend!

Graziella and Andrea were the most amazing hosts! They were fun to hang out with while learning Sicilian cuisine. The terrace where we cooked and relaxed was beautiful! I can’t say enough about this experience and this couple! Highly recommend!

Amazing time learning to make pasta at the chef’s home!

This was so much fun making authentic Italian in the chefs kitchen! Not only did we leave full and happy after eating pasta we made and tiramisu to die for, but the setting was absolutely beautiful. I have to say I loved Chef Maurizio, but the highlight for me was Chef’s sister. An amazing cook in her own right, and though she didn’t speak a word of English, my group had no problem deciphering her playful banter with her brother or her directions for us. Amazing experience. Don’t pass it up.
