What You’ll Experience

The Coffee Experience and Home Brewing Class is a fun and interactive way to learn about the history of coffee, main species, growing and processing methods. The class also focuses on price transparency and the dynamics between coffee growers and coffee consumers. Roast profiles, grind size and various brewing methods are also analysed and participants get an opportunity to sample specialty Robusta and Arabica coffee. The class highlights Uganda's rich coffee heritage and delves into the progress (or lack thereof) in being recognised as a coffee giant. Participants are awarded certificates as Ambassadors of Ugandan coffee.
