Good to Know

If something can easily connect you to a certain culture no matter where you are in the world, that is food. When you arrive to a new place, trying the most popular local dishes is a great intro to the local culture and, in many cases, even an ice-breaker to make conversation with people living there. Learning to cook Khmer food is a great way to introduce your Cambodian experience to your friends.

Lunch

Cooking class starts at 10am, you will go to La Plantation restaurant and will have an introduction to spices we grow in our pepper farm. You will learn how to cook traditional Khmer dishes and can even bring recipes at home! Enjoy your creation at lunch time. A Kampot Pepper ice cream is included

Great day!

We had such a lovely day at La plantation. I did see your options that took you around Kampot and Kep, but decided to just go here for the day, take our time and enjoy. We are so pleased we did! We arrived early and did the free tour and tasting, then did our cooking class- It was just the two of us! We made three dishes all delicious, had our lunch and then went to the spice bar for a drink. It was generally a lovely lovely day! Holiday highlight

It was a lot of fun, our instructor was friendly and put emphasis on teamwork. Would definitely recommend the course to better immerse yourself in Khmer culture! Note: the 2h only refer to the pure cooking class. We spent a total of 5h at La Plantation with food, the tour of the plantation and the spice tasting (included in the price).
