A very special experience away from mass tourism

The cooking class in a local village was a very special experience for us. Although hardly any English or German was spoken, the warm manner immediately made us forget any language barrier – with hands and feet, everything simply worked wonderfully. 😊 We were even allowed to participate in gathering and harvesting the vegetables in the garden. My 4-year-old was also given a small bucket and was included just as naturally as my 16-year-old. Both were also allowed to help with the preparation. ...read more

Amazing cultural cooking experience

We had such an amazing time at Etrim village! They organised a personal transfer from the hotel which was so convenient and drove 30 min to the village. The guide Tony immediately made us feel welcome by offering a drink on arrival. Together with the lovely lady we started cleaning the vegetables and created dolma, gözleme and other nice dishes in the kitchen. Etrim village cooking experience.

We loved our experience visiting Etrim Village. We were welcomed and driven to the village by Tony who made the day very enjoyable. The people in the village were so lovely, teaching us how to cook traditional Turkish meals and making sure we were cared for throughout the day. If you are looking for a unique and culturally rich day while in Bodrum, I highly recommend.
