The special thing about this activity is that you will not only observe the tradition of the Day of the Dead, you will live it!


This tour combines history, art, culture and gastronomy in one experience. You will walk through the streets of the historic center of Puebla discovering authentic altars inside colonial houses and museums, with explanations full of symbolism and emotion.


But what really makes it unique is that at the end of the tour, you can put your hands in the dough and make your own puffed dead bread, a traditional recipe from Poblano, in a real bakery.


It is an immersive, emotional and delicious activity that connects with the deepest of our roots. Ideal for travelers who want more than just a visit: a complete cultural experience.

What You’ll Experience

During this special Day of the Dead experience, travelers will take a city tour walking through the heart of Puebla, exploring some of the city’s most emblematic altars, located inside historic houses and museums that open their doors to show the richness of this tradition. Throughout the tour, you will know the meaning of the elements that make up the offerings, as well as the legends, stories and symbols that make this celebration unique in Puebla. At the end of the tour, the experience continues in a traditional bakery, where participants will learn to prepare their own puffed dead bread, guided by expert bakers. You can knead, shape and decorate your piece, taking not only bread, but also an unforgettable memory of this holiday so loved by Mexicans.
